The NFL Super Bowl is one of the biggest sport events on the planet. With global viewership in the hundred millions, the final game of the U.S. football league has a particular allure to advertisers. Commercials and campaigns surrounding the event are regularly anticipated just as highly as the happenings in the arena itself.
It should come as no surprise then, that when Ford approached Bipolar Studio to create a unique commercial experience for the Super Bowl LIII, the team jumped at the chance. Opting to skip traditional T.V. advertising, the Los Angeles-based production company devised a one of a kind, cinematic CGI VR image film, filled to the brim with breathtaking visuals, art direction and clever references to America’s favorite pastime.
Check out our interview for an exclusive look behind the scenes of the ‘Ford Super Bowl Fan Journey’.

It’s an archviz extravaganza at the RebusFarm blog and we’re covering all the bases! Whereas our current 3D Artist of the Month exclusively focuses on exteriors, Wacław Klos, our May 2019 ArtWanted! feature, mostly designs elegant interiors.
Unsatisfied with his employment relationship, Wacław decided to take a chance and established his own business Epistudio. In our interview, he recounts his journey to self-employment and exploring additional revenue streams as a freelance artist.

Architectural visualization is truly a global industry. Thanks to the wonders of modern technology, we are free to digitally explore cityscapes and buildings from all over. Our 3D Artist of the Month campaign is one opportunity to connect with artists worldwide and highlight their work. For May 2019, our journey takes us to the city of Novosibirsk in Siberia, Russia. Here, we meet Stas Vergasov, a talented 3D archviz artist, specializing in exteriors.
When Stas submitted a series of visuals he produced for a shopping mall, we were immediately intrigued by the dense and unique atmosphere of the scene. To get the full story behind the image and learn more about his unique approach, check out our interview!

Those familiar with Mies van der Rohe’s iconic Farnsworth House might immediately spot that something is off in Peter Oldorf’s reimagined scene. Not satisfied with simple 3D reconstruction, the German archviz artist decided to unceremoniously transplant the building from its original location in Plato, Illinois to a rugged Swedish forest landscape.
Check out our interview to find out what inspired this bold move, as Peter talks about his latest piece, his history in architectural visualization and his assessment of the current state of VR technology.

Shhh! Try not to make too much noise as we venture deep into the woods for our March 2019 ArtWanted! feature, or we might draw the unwanted attention of the reclusive forest dweller. Instead, let us focus all of our attention on Vitaly Varna, talented 3D environment artist from Lithuania and creator of the clandestine scene pictured above.
Thankfully, Vitaly welcomed us with open arms and readily talked about the ins and outs of environment art and the development process of his latest personal project.

The situation in Yemen is getting worse and worse. Every day children are suffering from hunger, violence and diseases. UNICEF is on-site, helping those children in need. They treat malnourished children with therapeutic special food in the form of peanut paste or special milk. Both are particularly rich in nutrients and calories to help them gain new strength. The children are given vaccines against diseases such as diphtheria or cholera. Furthermore, the UNICEF team repairs schools, provides the children with educational material and takes care that there are teachers.

Although February has passed, it is still Valentine’s day at RebusFarm! Our March 2019 ‘3D Artist of the Month’, talented 3D modeling and texturing artist Valentin Erbuke, has gifted us some delicious eye-candy. Half elf, half dryad, his equally fierce and delicate ‘Jungle Hunter’ shot an arrow straight through our hearts! At only 23 years, Valentin’s work, notable for its realism and visual coherence, has already earned him a great many admirers in the CG community.
In our interview, Valentin talks about falling in love with 3D, his reasons for relocating overseas and the benefits of teaching.
